I am a senior consultant at The Technology Partnership (TTP), working in communications, wireless and embedded systems. Headquartered in Melbourn near Cambridge, TTP is Europe's leading independent technology and product development company.

Prior to joining TTP, I worked at Psytechnics, a software company which I co-founded as a spin-off from BT Laboratories in December 2000. Psytechnics provides technology to allow enterprises and network operators to manage network quality from the customers' viewpoint, saving costs on equipment and capacity while guaranteeing service performance. At BT and then Psytechnics, I co-developed PAMS and PESQ (ITU-T Recommendation P.862), and provided consultancy to key clients. From 2003-2004 I managed research into novel video and mobile applications.

Background
I have a Ph D in digital signal processing (DSP) from the University of Edinburgh, funded by an Industrial Fellowship from the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851. Prior to this I completed a M Eng in Electrical and Information Science at the University of Cambridge, writing my master's thesis on signal separation.
